I'm so glad you're here! I'm Rachel, the artist and designer of Rachel Ai Studio! I currently reside on the beautiful island of O‘ahu with my amazing husband and our pets, Mitsy, Mattis, and Mango!

In college, I painted my first watercolor home portrait for my Japanese grandparents - the very house that shaped me where I spent every summer growing up! From there, more and more people started asking for various portraits, marking the start of this journey of painting people's most special moments. Everyday I pinch myself that this is my career!

I find my inspiration in the sunshine, florals, and being in the ocean. Outside of my studio, you can definitely find me at the beach, running, painting some sourdough, or exploring the island!
